The WYCCF Community Pantry was founded several years ago by staff members of the White Yellow Cross Foundation, who saw that there was a need to provide food and basic necessities to some of the foundation’s clients who struggled with food security. The aim is to provide essential items to those in need within our community. We are looking forward to join this edition again of SXM Doet with a project to connect volunteers to help us achieve this mission.

As regular during SXM Doet, we aim to get this pantry stacked again and updated. On Friday, we will focus on getting as many items as possible, collecting these from people shopping at the different (bigger) supermarkets. These donations will help keep the pantry stocked and ensure that seniors and other vulnerable members of our community continue to receive much-needed support.
Registration is required as a schedule will be arranged to coordinate efforts effectively. Groups are especially welcome, so gather your friends, family, or colleagues and join us in making a positive impact - but do let us know who to expect exactly so the schedule can take this into account. Also, with signing up for this project you sign up for Friday specifically, and we expect you to show up that day. If you want to help out organizing the products on Saturday, please sign up for the other project for that part (which we will do with a smaller group due to the limitation of space).
